Today I experienced a one-to-one guided meditation journey with @realizewhoyouare_
Before starting the practice I burst into tears. I often feel misunderstood in this world. Biological family that have dispersed into different defections. Friends that are no longer on my path. A feeling that I still have so many layers yet to heal. A deep yearning to truly understand why a myself as a lightworker walks the path less travelled, and why certain elements of society and its expectations feels so alienating.
I went into a meditative state by closing my eyes, connecting with my physical body through conscious breathing, and allowing myself to feel at home with the sacred connection to the burning of palo santo. One thing I do know is that it’s quite easy for me to flow into this state of being, to open and receive messages from the divine.
During the guided meditation, I visualised walking down some stairs within an ancient library. There were many books surrounding me and I sat down and started to write.
I had four doors leading out of this space. Each one I opened (one at a time) guided me to a master of wisdom to receive insight. Here’s what I experienced…
Door one: wisdom for the body.
I opened the door and the water element came straight to me. The soft, flowing feminine of life and her gift of emotion. I could see a vast ocean as I was at the beach, and then began to see a huge fire light upon the sand being waved in the direction of the infinity symbol. It continued to glow for a quite a few moments.
Door two: wisdom for the mind.
This door opened into a forest and I could see a huge sun rising through the trees. I was anchored into the peacefulness of the earth element and I was greeted by the animal kingdom. Deer, elephants, and other animals showing me the Great Spirit of the land and how it grounds us to come home to ourselves.
Door three: wisdom for the heart.
When opening the door, all I could see was clouds within a blue sky. This was obviously the air element. But after sitting with this visual for a few moments, I started to meet with an angelic being. Her presence was powerful. She glistened in gold and this Goddess type of energy brought me to tears. I was at one with her beauty and grace. Perhaps an ascended master coming into my space…
Door four: wisdom for the spirit.
As I opened the door, I looked straight down and inside of this vast tree trunk. It felt like spirit was showing me a bridge between worlds. The bridge between the higher and lower realms. Teaching me about my gifts as a spiritual being and how I am able to navigate different energies and frequencies through my intuitive nature. I could see my biological father here too. He was experiencing this vision, too. But he had binoculars. It’s as if he couldn’t see what I see. Perhaps a message about feeling misunderstood because some people cannot fully understand the gifts of others.
My Conclusion:
Not all relationships and connections are perfect in this human world. Sometimes we feel more alone and misunderstood in the presence of others than we do on our own. That’s honestly OK to feel that way. They are on their journey. You are on yours. What matters is that we love and cherish those who want to be in our lives. For me, this is my boyfriend. He stands by me through everything.
It’s only when we truly meet with spirit and experience the unconditional love from the divine, that we can forgive that human imperfection and those who cannot hold space for us to be in their lives. Because when we do meet with spirit and experience the unconditional love from the divine, we know that we a truly safe in this world and never really alone.
